The Withering Spring..

She saw spring smiling everywhere. The grass covered with flowers and the breeze filled with fragrance. She ran as far as she thought the meadows will end, only to find them stretching infinitely. The sky was filled with colours, colours of butterflies. The sun too had a broad smile. All the trees were covered with leaves of various shades making it look beautiful. Only when her eyes opened, did she realise that there was not a single leaf on any tree as the autumn had just begun.
